Color Underwater Camera advice please!

Looking to buy an underwater camera with color display. I will be using this for both ice and open water fishing. Basically I want to be able to see green weeds, and view the screen in the sun. Anyone have some suggestions for me? Don't mind spending some money but dont want to break the bank either. Ideally find a nice used one. Thank you in advance!

You'll want the Marcum VS825sd, which is prob the best available for the time being. Retails for $699. You won't find a used one. My other 2 older models (VS820 and VS825c) are not so good in sunlight. The new model is supposed to be 3x brighter for viewing in sunlight. You will get what you pay for.

My VS825sd is still kind of hard to see in the sunlight, it needs to be shaded.

I have a B&W Marcum 820 or 825 or whatever and you can't see beans with it in the sun. I find it to be of very marginal use in the summer. Biggest problem I see is that you are moving all the time even in a light breeze. The camera is down there just waiting to get bunged up on a rock, caught in some junk or whatever cause you have it down too low. The water gets less clear also in the summer. Frankly if I had realized how poor it was I doubt I would have bought one.
