wdgold
Looking for ideas on what kind of pavers people have used that are not that expensive. I've also seen flat flex edging, has anyone used it?

CaptainBly
I have bullet edgers. Not sure of the cost today, I put them in about 8 yrs ago. I like them, put the mower tires on them and around you go. You don't have to worry about mowing them off. I am sure you can go to one of the big box stores and get them for a good price when they go on sale this spring. I did a patio with pavers and retaining wall block and got them on sale and saved quite a bit of money.
pureinsanity
As a ex-landscaper, I can tell you you can get most of the stuff at Menards... Basically you can get it the same price there as if you were a contractor going to a landscape supply company. The most typical for pavers is like stated above, Bullet Edgers. Very easy to install, specially if you take the time to rent a landscape edging machine. Basically paint your line on the lawn, set the depth of the edging machine. ( I will typically set it so a bullet is sitting at least 1/2 inch to an inch out of the ground.) Make your trench with the machine and start setting them! With the edging machine you should get this done in no time. If you do it by shovel have fun flat flex edging?? Isn't that stuff for concrete?
