once you get the lawn removed dont worry about the weeds. you can take a glove or sponge and soak it in round up and just rub it on the weeds you want gone. no spray going everywhere then

Yeah this 1-3 inches turned into 6-8 pretty fast... Not what I needed for my gardening endeavors.

Crazy to think about... This time last year I had tilled up a completely new bed out in the orchard and on March 25th I planted snow peas in it!

That's a great tactic in a lot of cases where individual weeds need killing amidst flowers/veggies, but are too hard to pull.
