A sincere thank you to Rick and the staff as well as the whole contributing family at HSO. Through the years there have been many positives that have brought the HSO community together. Great advise, great friendships, great gatherings: things that really make a difference in our outdoor community. A big thank you to every person who took a kid fishing, hunting, camping..... Thanks for the kind words. It's appreciated.

But really it's not me... the Thanks goes out to our fantastic staff and all of you amazing and positive members. The way you share your wealth of information or just have fun with each other is simply astonishing.

I had a friend recommend this site to me and i was a little skeptical thinking its just another site where ill get bashed for saying something or it wont be current. I was happily surprised at the depth of content and the spirit with which the whole site is handled. The topics are both thought provoking and funny when they need to be. There is a wealth of honest information and a true willingness from people to help out. You look around in your day to day life and see so many people that could care less if the person next to them even exists and you come here and see the spirit of the old days is still alive. It honestly gives me the sense that people truly do care and that theres a passion still alive for the outdoors and and for the people that enjoy it. I visit the site daily and see no reason why I will not continue to do so. THANKS to all who have made this a great site.

Yes, Hardyboy hit the nail on the head. I can not add any more other than I agree and much the same as I had found and kept coming back & back. smile Thanks to Rick, the staff & HSO's members, over the years a great site was carved and has shown it can withstand the test of time.
