shiltsy
Anyone have a good referral for a marine mechanic in the East metro or Hudson area? I do most of my own winterizing, but would like to have a few things done this spring:- hit all the grease points (impossible to reach some of them)- clean up a few scratches/dings in the fiberglass- replace the trim sender cam on the Vmax150 (second vmax I've owned both with same issue)- motor seemed to overheat last fall when trolling... need that checked out as wellI know there are a lot of shops out there, but I'm hoping someone can refer someone that has done great work for them in the past. Thanks! Open water can't arrive soon enough...

shiltsy
I called Simply Fishing Marine this week.... just based on my 5 five minute phone conversation, I could tell these guys are good! My boat will be going straight there when she comes out of storage in April! They aren't a warranty authorized Yamaha shop. I'm out of warranty, so it doesn't really matter... either of you guys use them for Yammy work?
Jig Master
I've heard Hallbergs Marine does good service work on Yamaha's specifically.
