You might want to check out Gunbroker or GunsAmerica. I think those are both .com addresses.

You could also take it into a gunshop and ask what they'd pay for it. Keep in mind that this is less than what the gun would retail, so to be fair you'd probably pay her a bit more than what the shop would. How much, exactly, I don't know.

Thanks, guys.

It has an adjustable choke that you turn to get full/modified/improved. She used it as a trap/skeet gun and didn't hunt with it. It's gas operated, which is new to me and I don't know if it would be a good field gun.

I think a trip to the gun shop is in order.

The sportsmans were made for hunting. Not sure if they came with adjustable chokes back then. Could have been done later. That would decrease the value. I have a 12ga that I love for grouse hunting. It only handles 2 3/4" shells, so I don't use it for water fowl. I have a winchester for that.

The type adjustable choke you are referring to was quite common when that shotgun was current. There is no reason you can't use that little gun for a long time to come.

And it sure has more grace, charm and personality then one of the current generation of black plastic shooting appliances. HA!!

Shoot it and have fun.
