Marcum VX-1 issues

this thing has worked fine for a couple years and I took it out tonight and as soon as I turned it on it started to make a bunch of noise and nothing would show on the screen? I looked over everything and it looks fine. When I first turned on the dial I get a blip on the screen with the colors and then nothing but a blank screen and a bunch of noise?

Is it toast or is there something that can be done by Marcum? I was pulling my portable behind my atv and may have hit a bump but didnt think it was bad enough to do any harm, was nothing worse than what I have hit before. Otherwise I have no idea what would have caused this.

The first thing I would do is charge the battery and/or make sure you're using a battery that's fully charged.

If that doesn't fix it, the next thing I would do is call Marcum's customer service.

Good luck getting it working right!

Tried 2 other full batteries with no change. There is definitely something going on inside the unit. Something is all loose inside the round part where everything spins around

I dropped a spud bar on the face of my LX3 earlier this year and it did the same thing. The spinning part came unattached from the face and was spinning freely. I took it in and they fixed it for no charge even though it was obviously my fault. Worse case is they charge you $69 bucks and fix it like new.

I would just call them up. They are good and fast.
