Captin Ron

I was lucky enough to win a guided trip on Winnie with Captin Ron and as luck would have it we vacation on winnie for a week every year, so we hooked up last tuesday, and did we hammer em. The captin put us righ on fish, hump after hump after hump, all in all we netted 37 fish!!! it was a great day of fishing, and he let me mark all the spots we fished with my gps, so we caught fish ALL week!! Thanks again to the Fish n line Raido show and to captin ron.
If anyone out there is thinking about a giude on Winnie don't give Captin Ron a second thought, you'll catch fish, you'll laugh, you'll have a great day on the lake, and that's what it's really all about, making new friends over a boat load of fish.

I second that! Ron is a class act. I met him a couple of weeks ago when he was in town for the Camp Confidence Charity Tournament. He took a few minutes and showed me some neat tricks on my Lowrance GPS unit. I haven't had the pleasure of fishing with Ron but his reputation is second to none. I'd recommend him to anyone that is looking to catch a bunch of fish on Winnie.

I would have to agree as well, Ron is a great guy. I always made it a point to stop in at Judd's when it was still up and running and chat with Ron everytime I'm up ice fishing on Winnie. He's always willing to chat and share a few tips and stories. And he knows his stuff! A true sportsman
