i am wondering what a used smooth bore slug barrel is worth for 870 12 ga? i bought a used 1 from a guy for my son to use this year & now we ended up winning a 12 ga w/ rifled slug barrel. possibly trading in barrel on a red dot sight for the new gun i paid $70.00 what do you think i can get for it? i know i will get less from gun shape but dont want to get scre---.

It's kind of like a car. Once you drive them off the lot they drop. You should post here on HSO since you can't do it on the "list" or other sites. But, you mite bring it in to one of the good gun shops and see what they would trade up for a Red dot for it? confused
