Now that I have a good idea of what choke I am getting for my first turkey season, I plan on buying one for my father as well for an early fathers day gift...any recomonations for a beretta a390...I don't know if they accept the same chokes as the 391, and I don't want to ask and ruin the surprise...any info or oppinions would be appreciated

The 390 used the mobil choke system. Your 391 the optima plus system unless it is a Urika 2002 or older model, (then it uses the mobil system). So they are not interchangeable unless it's 2002 or older Urika.
