Recommended Posts

I am looking at getting one of these phones for my ugrade. I am looking at the Ravine and Brigade. Does anyone have any info on these phones or any info and how good the casio phones are. I dont want to go spend and waste my money if these phones dont hold up or dont do well.

I just upgraded to the Ravine about a month ago. I have not really put it to the test yet. So far I like it. Battery life is good, sound quality is good, and I was able to make a call from an area where I did not think I could.

My old phone was the Casio Boulder, I liked that one as well, it never missed a beat in 2 years. The only knock I had against it was sound quality. My new Ravine is much better in that dept. My Ravine is also slightly larger, which I like. The keys seem to be built better for large fingers.

A friend of mine gave the Brigade a look, then he said he read the reviews and gave up on that oner.

used to have a Boulder. very rugged phone. dropped it on concrete a few times. not on purpose. submersible too cuz i tried it like in the tub or sink. even fell out of my clip/holster when i got out of my pickup and was out in the rain for about half hour. upgraded since then and now have a Droid. I was happy with the Boulder but that was a few years ago.
