Five island lake

Does anyone have info on this lake? Fishing reports for the spring, summer, fall, & winter? walleyes, crappies, pike, bluegills? Water quality?

Did some research and cannot find fishing reports or anything for this lake! Did find out that it was dredged in the late 90's.

I've never been there before, but according to my sportsman atlas it sounds like the deepest water is 20'. Apparently it has good populations of walleye, channels, northern, and crappie. Most of the spots that they note on my map are all by the town of Emmetsburg. Hope this helps a little. I dont think its a very pressured lake so that should help.

It in Emmetsburg running north east. call the guys or stop by no limits in spencer. most of them fish it and have a report

used to fish five island on a regular basis but moved from the area . The walleye fishing can be excellent in the spring when water temps are below 60 . Again in october and november the fishing can be great .Most of the time i just fished from shore in the evenings.The lake has good numbers of crappie and channel cats.It can be slow in summer and winter but this may have changed since the dredging.

Sounds like the Iowa Walleye Trail will be fishing there first this year in the spring.
