IowanSince02
I've been told that Wisconsin has tons of cranberry bogs, and that they tend to be excellent for fishing. Anyone have any comments on this? I'm told that you might pay something to fish in them, but that it's well worth it. Any information would be appreciated. gixxer01
I only know of the bogs close to turtle lake, wi. Haven't fished any of them as they are really shallow, 1' to 2' when flooded. They do make excellent duck hunting, though.
Lunker
I've been reading a lot of reports from fishable cranberry bogs around warrens(north of tomah, SW of Wisconsin Rapids). Sounds like they are fairly deep and have plenty of panfish and crappies in them. I hear the water is pretty dark. Thats about all I got for you.
