Beads for spinner rigs!

Hi Folks: I teach a fishing course at the local high school usually run about 60 to 70 teenagers thru each year. The idea is to give them something to do and also help them with grades. So far we have had about an 85% graduation rate from high school on teenagers that were not going to make it! I need beads, tons of beads for two projects, one is live bait rigs and the other is for pins and bracelets to sell and raise money for the course! Anybody know of a wholesaler or jobber that sells beads? Thanks for your help!

This may seem weird, but the best and cheapest place I've found for the largest selection of beads was at Michael's, a craft store chain here in the southern burbs. Extremely cheap!

I would call around to different suppliers and retailers. If I were still in the business .. I would give you what you need.. or at least what I could which would be a substancial amount.

One place I would look up is Hagens in SD.. They are a supplier for retailers and manufacturers. They have very good prices compared to anything else mentioned, and great quantity price breaks. My guess is you would be able to pick up some for next to nothing.

Make some calls.. you may be amazed on what you will come up with for free, or next to nothing. Bait shops, major retailers, craft shops, etc.
