Lakemaster Chip for Garmin

Just wanted to see what other ppl thought about the lakemaster chips for Garmin. I currently have a garmin c530 and was wondering the pros and cons of getting a lakemaster chip. tia!

I have the Oregon 450. Personally I hate the little SD card. I am sure the content of the maps are first rate but the size drives me up a wall. I have to have the wife pick it out so I don't drop it. I much preferred the old chips.

I bought the CD so I can chose how much to put on the unit and I think it may be a bit faster to load that way. I have a 78s and I can't figure out what goes on the card and what stays in the memory on the rig. I'm also too old to care all that much as long as it works.
