Hole placement in flip style

I just got a clam yukon and just wondering what works the best for haveing 4 holes and where to place the heater ? Today I had 3 diagonal and buddy heater in the corner. also does anyone put something down for a floor ?

My shacks slightly bigger but I run anywhere from 4-6 holes depending on if a partners with and if we are fishing by electronics or sight fishing.

I have an Eskimo Quickflip 2 and do this same thing.

Yeah, I use the same basic floor plan in my Yukon. I usually have a hole in the left corner near the sled for the camera. That floor plan allows for a little distance from the fishing holes for viewing and keeps the line from getting wrapped around the cable if a fish runs.

This year I have been using 2-3 square floatation devices for my floor. They work great for keeping feet of the ice, and if you need to kneel to land a fish or adjust the heater they provide some cushion. They are light and dry off quickly. Skol.

I use the interlocking foam mats, about 2.5' x 2.5'. They are super light and size adjustable. I think I paid $6 at harbor freight.
