Trolling motor size?

I have a question. I just purchased a 15ft. fiberglass open bow runabout. I want to put a bow mounted trolling motor on it. My question is how big should it be? Is 55lbs big enough? Some have said I should go 65 and 24 volts. What are your opinions?

55 should be fine on the bow.

if you will be on the river you may want to consider a bigger one.... otherwise that sounds big enough... but, you know what they say... "the bigger, the better"
