How often to fish a spot.

I am lucky that i get laid off in the winter time and can ice fish as often as i like.And with that i drill lots of holes and try many different spots and rarely will fish a group of houses. If there is a crappie bite going on how often do you go back? A person or family can only eat so many fish. So when the same people are in there house 3-4 times a week or more it seems to me they would be way over fishing. If it's me i will try for a different species in a different spot or try and find other spots. But i also have more time to fish. Wondering what you guys think.

They also could be targeting a different specie, fishing only catch and release.

Could be one person taking out different friends each time also.

Typically the crappies do not stay in one spot overly long.

Some simply set their wheel house up in an area with multiple specie and fish for what is below, play cards and also tip a few.

I only fish the same spot for maybe two or three times out of the year.

there is a lake i fish [open water in the fall] for walleys, and it's a small lake. i fish the same spots every year without fail all the time. not that there is probably other areas to try, but its a long drive for one day and these spots produce every time. every time they are hungry anyway. good luck.
