merkman
now what are those for? To connect the line to the bottom of the shaft. The top set screw goes up against the shaft and the bottom set screw hole will be drilled through for a key ring to be placed though it. MJ1657
Someone needs to come up with a hbs with a built in reel. The only part I dont like about the spinner is that when a pike hits it they cant run with it.

Huey
A lightweight bungee cord also works. I have one I got from a casino (freebie leash for your casino player's club card). It's about 3' long. Works great as part on my live decoy line. It's a good shock absorber for when a pike tries to fly in and swim off with the sucker minnow. Laska
no spinner attack today but I hade a decoy on the spinner for a holder and the 31" luckily missed 5 times but I need to do something cuz it seems this year only 27" and above fish want my deaks... Not a bad thing but I dont wanna lose a spinner!
