We got a Nikon D5000 this Christmas. It's our first DSLR, so for now we're just getting used to it. Here's a few pictures I got while we were in Montana

The jerky movement of the turkeys made it difficult to get a good shot of them.

I never even noticed the two headed turkey until you guys pointed it out

We're headed up to Two Harbors next weekend, I think I'll leave the ice fishing stuff at home and just bring the camera. Most of what I've been doing so far has been on AUTO mode. I think it's time to starting tinkering with manual
