Bullfrog(s) wanted

Hello - I'm a park naturalist here in the Twin Cities and I'm looking to acquire 1-2 med. to lrg. size bullfrogs for use in programming in addition to a dozen or so tadpoles. Any clue as to where to find any - I'm trying to avoid a rather negative experience I had ordering from a biological supply place... thanks in advance!

I assume there's a difference between Lepard Frogs and Bull Frogs?

The only place I know that had Bull Frogs is Rhienlander (spelling off) WI on the WI River. All over the shore line waiting for whatever. They are huge!

There's a bunch of them out at my folks. Granted I don't think they are out yet. But once it warms up they will be there.

Hey Ebass, Did you see the mystical "Hodag" in Rhinelander? LOL. I lived there for a few years, great fishing, minus all the bullfrogs!
Don't order chicken at the resteraunts there. They may slip you some "croakers". Ahhh, who cares? It all tastes like chicken anyways! I love it when people say that, "Tastes like chicken". Well buy chicken, it's a hell of a lot cheaper....Than snake, frog, etc.

Q: What did one lesbian frog say to the other?

A: "They're right! We do taste like chicken!" grin.gif
