I saw this guy today and was able to get one shot in before he took off. Not the best picture but hey its my first bobcat!

Nice job, Jason! Thinking you got the same report of a bobcat location I did. Wish I'd have been in a position to go after it. As always, congrats to the Cat Whisperer.

Now I just need a cougar. I heard of another bobcat too. Okay don't laugh but I didn't go after it because I thought it was another lynx. I didn't realize it was a bobcat until I got home and looked closer. It was still almost dark when I shot it. If I knew it was a bobcat I would have strapped on my snowshoes and went after it.

Cool find. Not sure if I have seen one before. I was thinking they had a smaller stub for a tail, now I know.
