i went there this morning and i got 3 northern pike it was good day for me to see about 15 northern pike but one northern pike stole my 4 1/2 inches decoy i was so bummed it is my favorite decoy it is bear creek

Where did you go? I was on Lower WF Friday and Sat. and we only saw 5 fish in two days. Although out of 5 fish 3 were over 30"

I knew a bunch of guys up there and no one was seeing anything?

Spearhead, you been up to whitefish lately? We might head up tomorrow, not sure though. Just wondering if anyone is driving out yet?

I'd love to get back up but the holidays are throwing a wrench into things. I was up there last weekend and we were on wheelers. There was only 8" in Pig lake but once we got on the main lake there was 12" of perfect ice and no snow. They might be driving out of Rutgers I talked to a buddy of mine and there was 12-14 over there.

I'll be back up the second week in Jan. good luck let me know how you do.

That's my old stomping grounds. A buddy of mine from high school used to have a spear house by there. We would walk out from his folk's place. I'd like to get back there and try spearing on my own.

If the weather is OK, I'm going to head up there Fri morning.
