Leaders

What kind of leaders do you guys use with your tip ups? At times i have gone without leaders and times i use shorter 6" leaders

40 or 50 vanish flouro. Kinda spendy but you can make a bunch of snells with it. Works well on clear lakes and tough bites for me. If the line gets a little shredded just have to re-tie.

I second the 50lb flouro. I also crimp it which lets the hook swing a bit which gives live bait a little more freedom.
