Adjusting Reverse - Polaris Indy 500 Classic's

How do you adjust the linkage for reverse on a 94 Polaris Indy Classic (1 up) and a 97 Polaris Indy Classic (2 up)? Both machines are 500 liquid cooled motors and look very similar under the hood. The 97 has 4300 miles on it and the 94 has 3800 miles on it.

is it just a cable adjustment? or is it something bigger?

Is your reverse on the top front of the handle bars? If so I would try the 2 nuts down by the chaincase. You can increase or decrease tension there. Try that for starters.

thanks Shane. The reverse is between the handlebars. Unfortunatly the sleds are up at Lake Vermilion and I will have to work on them next time up.
