so i just got a brand new showdown dualbeam and today was the first time on the ice with it. i was in 12 ft of water and i couldn't see my jig . with the sensitivity all the way up i could see it once in a while but my jig would fade in and out and so wouldn't fish that showed up . i also noticed how jerky everything was - normal ? do i have a bad one ? it was basically impossible to fish with. also i thought that it would save the setting but everytime i jumped to a different hole i had to reset everything . all in all a very frustating day on the ice,a depth finder shouldn't be that much work. i'll try it one more time for about 5 min and if its the same i'll have to call marcum .unlees someone has some ideas that maybe i'm doing something wrong ?
