FL-12 VS. FL-20

Hello, I was wondering from some people who have used both these flashers. Is the zoom feature the only difference between these two units? And is it worth the extra money to spend on the Fl-20? THanks in advance.

I have a fl-12 and only fish for gills and crappies but it seems that super small jigs get hard to pick up when you get over 28' deep. I think that the 6' and 12' zoom on the fl-20 would be worth it if you fish deeper water with small jigs because you would be able to see them better. The fl-20 also has a night mode that dimms the display so it's not blinding if your out in the dark. I am going to pick up a fl-22 hd and give it a try because I never fish deeper than 30'. If you don't fish deeper than 60' I would say check out the fl-22 hd also it has the same features as the fl-20 but was designed for shallow water and it comes with the tri-beam transducer.

On the Vexilar FL 20 and FL 22, the 6 and 12 foot zoom is well worth it, as is the day/night mode.

The ability to cut back the lighting is much easier on the eyes at night, and adds even greater subtleties to the detail.

The new Vexilar Tri Beam will enhance your options at all depths, and your capability's to see the tiniest jigs at any depth, in any mode.
