First Post, I ventured out on two small lakes near Ottertail and found 5-7 inches of solid ice, not much snowcover, which is soon to change I hear. Fishing was decent, small northerns kept me busy, a few small panfish and a couple of 12 in. crappies. Made for a great Saturday out on the ice.

Welcome to HSO! Good to see that much ice; I was in that area this weekend but didn't try any ice. There's a lot of different forums here that deal with specific regions, including one for the Ottertail area. Make sure to look around here and even make a similar post there as I'm sure we would all enjoy hearing your report!
