How can you tell if an Underwater Camera is a returned or exchanged?

Well, I just recently bought an underwater camera. How can I tell if it has been returned or exchanged previously? Does it matter if it has? I just think, if I paid full price, I should get an item that hasnt been used by others.

It and some parts were in plastic bags inside the box, but no bags were sealed... Hmm...

Take it back and exchange it for one that you feel hasn't been used.

Agree. I will bring it back. I hope that store will take it back and exchange for another one without me having to pay the 10% restocking fee.

If they charged me a restocking fee for it, I would never shop there again.

If it has actually been returned once the restocking fee has already been paid. Some people do take items out of the box in stores, look at it and put it back on the shelf. My wife does this once in a while.
