Marcum VS825Sd vs Marcum VS825C

MidCoast

LMIT is correct --- the SD uses a better Sony camera which captures a better image with less light in the water, and it comes with the $50 camera panner included in the box.

The SD also lets you set the camera to color or to black/white, to fine tune to the viewing conditions. The color-only cameras gray-out or brown-out as the light conditions darken.

The SD has a new monitor which is 3x brighter, so you can easily see it in daylight conditions, either on the ice or in a boat.

And the SD has on-screen information including the camera direction, the previous model doesn't have any of that info.

Hope that helps. If you want you can check out cameras and pricing at Underwater Cameras At Pro Fishing Supply

Does the 825sd, and the 625sd have the same bright screen and camera? Is the only difference the screen size?

The only difference between the 825sd and 625sd is the size of the screen.

You get the camera panner for free with the 825sd and the 625sd, but with the 825sd the camera panner is included in the box with the camera, and with the 625sd you have to send in a rebate form to get the camera panner. The rebate ends in December, I don't know if you'll get the camera panner for free with the 625sd after the rebate is over.
