eskimo auger extension?

i just picked up a eskimo mako new in the box from someone.. she got it from another person who owed her rent and moved out and left some belomgings behind.. so i bought the auger for 100.00 what a deal never even had gas run through it.. it looks like its last years style.. anyways do strike master and eskimo augers and extensions interchange? would the extensions of a strikemaster magnum 3 work on the eskimo? just curious as extensions seem to be quite pricey for what they are

I do know from talking to the guys at strikemaster that the shaft and threads are the same and that a strikemaster shaft will bolt up to an eskimo power head. so that being said i would assume that would hold true for the extension.

you will love your mako i love mine not sure the sm will fit. i tried on mine didnt work for me but i could be wrong

let me qualify my post by saying i have the Eskimo shark and it works on that model. i guess I'm not sure if there's a difference between the Mako and the Shark.

ok one more thing i do have an extension for my Shark and it was mailed directly from Ardisam. my step dad had purchased it several years back and yes im anal and still have the box it was shipped in. if all else fails contact them and they can hook you up. the C.O.D amount on the box is $23.73
