Deer season

How has everyone done? I've heard a few reports of some deer falling, but nothing spectacular. This was the first time in many years that I have not made it up for opener and of course my dad takes the biggest deer we've shot in the 20 years we've been hunting this spot. Came in on a string to a mock scrape and some buck bomb.

Hunted in the Brainard area. Didn't see many deer moving around and it was alot slower than years past. The locals say there are alot more wolves so I am sure that is taking its toll on the deer population.

Shiner tell your dad good job on that buck. We ended up with a 8, 6, and a 5 out at my camp. Not a great year but it was nice to see some movement.
