Where do you guys store them in the garage or inside? What amp trickle is best to put on it. Or maybe just give it a charge once in a while throughout the winter?

i like to store mine inside for peace of mind. you can put a trickle charger on it for the winter, or you can also just give it a full charge before you put it away and then throw on a trickle charger once or twice throughout the winter months. as long as it is put away with a full charge, you should be just fine.

That's the bottom line. Maintain a full charge to protect it from freezing or sitting at a low charge state. Either condition is harmful to any battery.

Storing it outside, it will hold its charge longer requiring less frequent recharging but it is also exposed to below freezing temps and if allowed to get low on charge could freeze, rendering it pretty much toast.

Storing it inside probably makes it more convenient to hook up the charger on occasion but a warm battery will lose charge faster than a cold one and if allowed to get too low for too long will damage the battery.
