I drove across the Ford Bridge and the Mississippi was wide open and waves were rolling!!! Open water is calling!

I was so transfixed I just about pulled a head on with oncoming traffic.

There were 5 boats on the Croix at Hudson yesterday. (just south of the I-94 bridge) It's making me anxious to get my boat out of storage. But I'm also hoping to be on the ice on LOTW on March 22.
Gotta love it; ice and open water both available. There were ice fishermen on the Croix yesterday within a hundred yards of where the boats were fishing.
