I'm glad some of you guys could copy some of my ideas. I used and improved on someone else's anyway for some of them. Now someone will copy yours and improve on them and then I can copy them smile

I took a hammer and a block of wood and beat them into submission. I used the wood so they would end up flat and not have the hammer marks. I did each side a little at a time then roll it over and do that side then back to first side then back to second side. It didn’t take long to do all 4 ends.

Thanks for posting this now I dont need to spend 50 bucks for another accesory. Made mine tonight, changed a little from yours I opened my eyebolts enough to slide the bar on and used the carabineer on the hitch end. I cut the pipe to fit my sled. Hope this works havent tried it yet. I used some 3/4 inch pipe I had laying around and it has hammer marks. grin Thanks

I found myself needing a quick, cheap tow bar last winter for a last minute trip and pieced together something that worked pretty well for $10 and about 10 minutes of work. I bought a 10' length of thick walled PVC pipe and some heavy rope. Cut the PVC into 5' length and fed the rope through the pipe and used snap clips on the ends to attach to the sled. Added a third snap clip to the end that attaches to my ATV and I was done. The pipe provides the rigidity needed to keep the sled from running into the back of the ATV. I wouldn't want to depend on it day after day, but it was a quick fix in a pinch. It's also nice to have lying around if you need to pull a second sled (for that friend that is too cheap to buy a real hitch).

Been out several times this year and it works great! I used a 1x4 on the inside of the sled to reinforce the tub. Next purchase will probably be a set of chains for the wheeler. Thanks again for the design Lutzy!
