I was hunting the edge of a marsh for roosters this morning and noticed the dog kind of studying a clump of grass right on the edge of the water. I wasn't paying too much attention and pretty soon she is in the clump and I hear a snuffling sound and out she comes with a squirming muskrat that is getting the death grip put to it. Of course this she delivers right to hand. From garter snakes to now muskrats not too much gets by her. We did get our two roosters but it was a death march for sure.
