the Lowrance Green Box?

Does anybody still use the Lowrance Green Box depth finder/fish locator?

Got one in the garage with the icu-ducer on it. Tried using it a couple times last year but it just doesn't compare to my vex. Maybe I just don't know how to use it....

I had been using one and it worked great. But now I have my own boat that came with a depthfinder so I probably won't use it much anymore.

I've continued to use mine since I bought it over 20 years ago. It takes a little doing to get the transducer to stick. I have to jiggle the battery wires around from time to time to keep it humming. And buying new batteries several times a year is a bit of a drag, but it still finds the fish!

I'm seriously contemplating upgrading this year though. I'm such a purist it just breaks my heart to let go of an "old friend", but there is so much good quality electronics out there now.
