JJK
Anyone hunt WI when the MN deer season is open?I'm thinking about doing it, and checking out Burnett, Washburn, or Sawyer county. Not sure how much public land there is or if bird numbers are decent. I don't deer hunt so I'm just looking into bird hunting options for the first 2 weekends in Nov. Cheetah
Not many grouse up on public land in Polk county. I've only seen one while bow hunting, my brother has been out a lot with his dog and only shot a couple, hasn't flushed many either.
GatorBait
Was hunting ruffs last week in the Sawyer/Price county area and did not have much luck at all. It was pretty slim pickings compared to last year. Either way, it's time well spent with nature and my pup so it's a win win for me.
mwal
SPent 4 days chasing grouse starting on the 11th. I only saw 1 grouse and missed it I did have good woodcock action. This was in Southern Bayfield County. Mwal
