Just to give an update on a SD hunt, we are out near Winner and we just limited out in 3 hours for 10 guys. We only hunted 1 field which was a sunflower field. We started in one area and kept pushing the birds until we got done with the field. At the end, we got 10 birds in the last 30 ft of the field. Pics will be posted when I get home. Still 2 days to go!!!

Very Nice rich. I love the herding strategy, they all bust right at the end. Tons of fun. Sounds like there is plenty of action out there. Can't wait for my turn in Nov. Good Luck, stay safe.

Hunted SW of Aberdeen for five days starting on the opener, lots of birds!!!! We had different numbers of guys every day but ended up with a total of 99 birds. Had to hunt hard every day, still lots of corn in the field, no big shootouts where we were done in an hour but it was fun!!! Looking forward to our second trip in November!!! Glad to see this rain, it will slow down that corn harvest, hopefully the timing will be that it goes out right before Nov. 19!!!
