Found this boat on HSO-Classifieds but dont know if its worth the money wondering what your thoughts are guys! He is asking 1100 for it with a 1988 40 HP Evinrude with tilt and trim and lifetime license on the trailer. The problem is that the 88 Eveirude has a bad cycender in it... Think it would be a hard fix for an average guy? or is it not worth tackling.?

What model boat? I have an '87 Backtroller. It's not a bad boat. Doesn't leak a drop, which is pretty amazing considering I have been known to bump into things on the river on occasion. The one thing I dislike is that the bow sits pretty high, which makes it catch a lot of wind and swing around when anchored. And it likes to porpoise if you get too trim happy (mines got a 60 HP Merc on it).
