what do you think of the NYIP?

I started the program a couple of years ago but found the videos and a lot of the written information was very outdated. It still applied to photography but I would like to see more modern topics and presentations. It was ok and you can cancel if you want to so.

I've heard the same about it being somewhat outdated, but I heard they updated a bunch of the material just this last year and haven't heard if its better or not. I've looked into NYIP as well, it is definitely difficult to find unbiased opinions on the program. As far as cost goes it depends on if you pay for the whole coarse at once or make payments. Also if you request the catalog and don't respond right away they will keep sending you packets with a lower and lower price, I think the last one I got was $698 for the Complete Professional coarse, which is $500 off the full price of making payments, and quite a bit lower than there first pay in full offer.
