Underwater camera's OVS vs. Aqua-vu

I'm in the market for an underwater camera and I'm torn between and OVS 500 and a Aqua-vu DT. And now I have another guy telling me about a new one. I think it's called Mammoth or something. Any info will be appreciated.

Mammoth should be the same as an OVS. As that was another name they were running with.

I have a OVS 400 and i just love it. I use it all year round too. I was looking at the aqua views vs. the OVS and it speaks for it's self. The OVS has a bigger screen and it's connection parts aren't just plastic. The guy at gander mountian said to go with the OVS because the aqua breaks to easy.

I've been hearing the same about aqua-vu's breaking down. They do sponsor whore around a lot. Roach, Linder, etc. I just want one that won't break after a few times on the water. Thanks for the info.

Corey, I've had an Aqua-Vu for 2 years and it's had a lot of abuse and I've never had any problem with it. It's been dropped onto concrete and nothin' wrong with it. I'm extremely happy with it.

Wait and see the OVS 560. Very cool with incredible night vision. I've a had a 500 for 2 years and I can report no problems with it.

I'm on my 4th Aqua-Vu, they seem to have a leaking problem that they can't seem to totally fix. I wondered if it had anything to do with warming up- and cooling down, the one's that have gone bad on me were during ice fishing or early spring conditions. I wonder if the severe change in temp from going from a warm fish house to high 30's causes leaking from shrinkage.
