Rush Lake - Water Level

Headed out to rush lake Saturday to battle the cold and wind. I could not believe the water level. Its been high all year but super high now after the rain. I couldn't seem to find any good fish either shallow or deep. Only managed a couple of fish all day. How does that high water change the fishing this time of year?

  As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that. If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
