I bought the Primos "Easy Mallard" thinking it would be, well, easy for a fool like me to figure out. Does anyone else think this is a good call? I ask because I've used it a few times out and it doesn't sound like a mallard to me and not nearly as good as some of the other guys I've heard calling around me. I'm wondering if it's just my lack of ability or if that call is subpar. I did managed to get a return pass out of 2 separate ring-necked flocks though.

Well I got back from cabelas today and tried out a whole bunch of different calls. I baught the Timber from echo calls. I like how it sounds and i can work it pretty good. The other one I liked was the RNT MVP. It was loud and could get soft to coax in some ducks and sounded good but couldnt feed call with it. I tried the 1972 Duck Commander acrylic and it was nice and sounds really good but sticks. You can get really soft on it but when you try to high ball it sticks. I tried a few others and eliminated one by one.

All in all there are alot of great calls just gotta find what you like and it worked for me

Thanks for all the help
