micpic
Migration has stalled now that the weather has improved. Lots of Warblers, Bluebirds, and Phoebe's taking advantage of the over aboundance of bugs we have here.
mixxedbagg
Those are wonderful photos...of a first fall female Yellow-rumped Warbler. Hint of a supercilium, throat patch curving behind the auriculars, hint of yellow on the flanks and barely visible on the rump in the first shot are all marks of the YR and there's way too much streaking and way too much white on the breast for a Pine. Pines and Yellow-rumpeds always mess with me in fall though, so I wouldn't consider this an easy call except for the fact that you took stellar photos of it. micpic
You taught me well again Ole Wise One! That's why I bought an SLR camera, so I could try learning Warbler I.D.'s. Looks like I got a long way to go. Thanks for setting me straight.Mike

mixxedbagg
Nah, you're fine. That's a tough one and I might have had a 50/50 chance at it in 3D, hopping between twigs.
