Vikings Game Tailgating

I will be taking some clients to the Lions game this WE. I have questions about tailgating. I have found a map on the Vikings HSOforum on where these tailgating lots are located.

1st? - How early to arrive, how quickly do they fill up?

2nd? - What is allowed or not allowed in the "non-tailgating" lots?

I honestly did not know that Vikes fans tailgaited at H. Humphrey Metrodome. News to me.

It's been a few years since I gave up my tickets, but no-tailgating lots meant no fires or grilling. You can get there at 8am or at 11am, it just depends on how close you want to park to the Dome. I'd say that most arrive in the 9-10am timeframe.
