Can't believe I did it, but I looked at a litter of pups (shorthair) already. Lost my 1 yr old shorthair earlier this month. still can't believe it, she was going to be awesome. I decided against it though. i don't want to loose another one like that again. I'm still besides myself, so i decided that my hunting season is already over. If I found someone with a 2 year old or so dog that they just can't keep because of a move or something else, I'd consider that, but I'd have to sadly say, I'm done with dogs for now!! But boy, was it fun to see a litter of nice looking dogs!!!
