I had a great crockpot recipe for apple butter last year and was hoping to adapt it this year to make it in the roaster, but now I can't find the one I used last year. Have any of you tried making it in a roaster, and what recipe did you use? I want to can it, and have a ton of apples that I don't want to go to waste.
