So it's thursday the 2nd of sept, and the twins are going 12 innings with the tigers!

Last night I publicly predicted to my friends that the game was going to go 18 innings. It went into extras, but only to the 10th.

Is my psychic ability perhaps a bit delayed? Will we go 18 innings tonight?

Bad umping sure makes for exciting baseball.. lol. I'm missing seeing Gardy in the dugout.

No doubt on the bad umping. I was at the game tonight it was ridiculous the bad calss being made.

Yup, the umping was bad. Anything on the low side of the plate was a ball. The second base ump was pitiful.

Not only that but the play by the Twins didn't help either.

Tough when your in a penant race to blow a 4 run lead in the 8th.

We won't be in a pennant race if we keep playing infield like we have the last couple of days. Definitely not Twins baseball. Tough to get on the guys after taking 2 of 3, but it wasn't pretty. Might be time for Gardy to have one of his infamous once-a-year-closed-door-come-to-jesus-type meetings. There seems to be a lot of little things not quite right. I'll still take 2 of 3 in any series though.

I blame the overuse of pitchers in the.. 8th? (I forget) inning of Tuesday's game for limiting our pitcher selection for last night.
