Quick question. How is the area by Lakota (just east of Lakota) for ducks and geese? It is about halfway between Devils lake and Grand Forks. Average numbers for ND? I have permission to hunt about 5,000 acres, but never been to this part of the state for waterfowl. The land has tons of pot holes, but has been limited to beans and sunflowers this year. Worth the 6 hour drive from Minneapolis?

It's maybe the most popular area in ND for ducks. Grew up in Grand Forks and used to watch the boats just pour through town on highway 2 from MN during duck season. I posted in one of your other threads.

If you have permission and it's not going to be over run with lots of other people it would be worth the drive.
